Biography:
From 1988 he has been regularly taking part in the work of the Mártély
Free School of Fine Arts. From 1990 to 1994 he gets his higher education at
the Szeged Pedagogical Institute Gyula Juhász. His masters were the
painters István Dér and András Novák.From 1994 to 1996, he teaches in the grammar school in Kistelek, from 1996 to 1998 he is head of department of the Artistic School created by the Hammido Fondation. From 1995 he has been member of the National Association of Hungarian Artists. From 1996 he has been living in Hódmezõvásárhely, working in the workshop of the Association. Has had 15 individual exhibitions including three abroad (Finland, Germany, Denmark). With other artists living in Hódmezõvásárhely, he has had several joint exhibitions abroad and in Hungary as well (Veszprém, Budapest: Convention Center, Debrecen, Kaposvár, Szeged, The Netherlands, Germany). His works were shown at different exhibitions, biennales and at other cultural events. His painting can be described as a pictorial world founded on the realistic traditions of Hódmezõvásárhely, recreating in a different way traditional artistic values. He likes experimenting in everything, trying to apply new techniques and new subjects as well. He is interested not only in applying newer drawing and painting techniques, but also in sculptural solutions, in spatial representation. His sculptural works, for which he uses natural materials such as copper and wood, show an artistic world impregnated by sharp irony. His sculptures have been exhibited at a number of national exhibitions. Artistic
